ElectraSim ("we", "us", "our") is a free browser-based electrical circuit simulator available at electrasim.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
2. Data We Collect
We collect no personal information. Specifically:
- No account registration is required or offered.
- No name, email address, or other identifying information is collected.
- Your circuit designs are saved only to your browser's IndexedDB / localStorage — they never leave your device.
- No cookies are set by ElectraSim for tracking or advertising purposes.
3. Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics — a privacy-first, GDPR-compliant analytics service. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not share data with third parties. It only records aggregate page view counts and referral sources to help us understand how the site is being used.

4. Local Storage
The ElectraSim app stores your circuit data, settings, and preferences in your browser's IndexedDB and localStorage. This data:
- Never leaves your device.
- Is never transmitted to our servers.
- Can be cleared at any time via your browser settings.
5. Third-Party Services
The following third-party services are used:
- Cloudflare Pages — hosts this website. Cloudflare may log anonymised access data (IP addresses are anonymised). See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — used to load the Inter typeface. Google may log font requests. See Google Fonts privacy FAQ.
- Plausible Analytics — cookie-free analytics. See section 3 above.
6. Children's Privacy
ElectraSim does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The service collects no personal data from any user, regardless of age.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of ElectraSim after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
